About
Photography built around real moments and honest storytelling.
Evocation Photography is a family-run business led by John Roberto, a warm and approachable photographer whose focus is on making people feel at ease, so the images feel natural rather than performed. Behind the scenes, co-founder Mirella Tan keeps everything running smoothly, from bookings to delivery. Based in London, we photograph weddings, events and portraits across the capital, Croydon, Surrey and the wider UK.
As parents themselves, John and Mirella understand how quickly the moments that matter most can pass. That instinct shapes everything, from the way John moves through a wedding day to the care taken in editing and delivery.
Every session is shot in RAW on professional-grade equipment, carefully edited and delivered to a private online gallery. The style is documentary and relaxed, following the day and the people in it, rather than directing them. You can see the approach throughout the selected work.
