Harry & Lydia’s City of London Wedding at All Hallows-on-the-Wall
By John Roberto · 13 June 2026 · 4 min read

Harry and Lydia's wedding was a love letter to the City of London. They married at All Hallows-on-the-Wall, the elegant Georgian church on London Wall in EC2, and made the most of everything the Square Mile has to offer: the architecture, the narrow lanes, and yes, a classic black cab.
A City church with real character
All Hallows-on-the-Wall is a quietly beautiful church, a calm, light interior with a domed apse, set among the glass towers of the modern City. Lydia arrived by black cab, had her veil adjusted on the church steps by her bridesmaids beneath the clock tower, and the ceremony itself was warm and unhurried, complete with live music. We worked discreetly from a fixed position throughout, keeping the focus on the couple and their guests.

The City as a backdrop
For couple portraits, the City does the work for you: Portland-stone porticoes, wrought-iron railings, narrow historic streets and the unmistakable black London cab. A short walk between the church and the reception at Devonshire Terrace gave us everything we needed. No staged photoshoot, just Harry and Lydia moving through the city that meant something to them.
