The session
Light direction. Real expressions.
The first ten minutes of any portrait session are about getting comfortable: walking, talking, finding the light. From there, John gives simple prompts rather than poses: where to look, what to do with your hands, when to just carry on talking. The photographs happen in between.
Sessions run on location across London, Croydon and Surrey: a favourite park, your home or workplace, or a spot we'll suggest based on the light and the feel you're after. Every image you receive is individually edited and delivered to a private online gallery within 21 days.
